The NCF Board holds its first meeting in the year in Abuja | (2010-01-26 )

The Board of the Nigeria Cricket Federation(NCF) will hold its first meeting in the year in Abuja at the Kebbi State Guest House on Saturday, January 30.

 

The meeting will focus on strategic issues for the administration of the game in 2010 and the agenda is expected to include the articulation of a vision for the tenure of the new Board from 2010 – 2013; consideration of a new organogram for the Federation, consideration Of steps to be taken in rebranding the Federation CRICKET NIGERIA, Board Committee Reports, Zonal Coordinators Reports, ratification of the 2010 budget template submitted to ICC, proposed programme of activity for 2010, financial report for year ended 31st December, 2009 and status report on the Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket oval.

 

All the Board members are expected to attend as follows; Dr Yahaya Ukwenya(1st Vice-President), Mr. Soki Dakoru(2nd Vice-President), Dr Tony Okunbor, Mr. Okon Ukpong, Ms Bimbo Olusola-Sowoolu, Brig-Gen Austin Okoh, Alhaji Mohammed Alfa, Alhaji Saidu El-Buba and the President, Mr. Kwesi Sagoe.

 

This will be the second meeting of the new Board since it was inaugurated in July, 2009.
