NIGERIA HOSTS NORTH-WEST AFRICA ALL-ROUNDER ACADEMY | (2009-12-08 )
The Nigeria Cricket Federation(NCF) is this week hosting a North-West Africa regional elite programme under the auspices of ICC-Africa. The All-Rounder Academy is directed at improving the skills of all-rounders in the region. Nigeria as the only Associate member in the region has the honour of hosting these programmes. The Academy which began on Monday 7th December will have a tenor of four days closing on Thursday, 10th December, 2009. Participants are drawn from Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Mali, Sierra Leone and hosts Nigeria. Two participants represent each country and the roll call is as follows: Julien Nyoma and Raymond Fongana (Cameroon); Zacchaeus Akila and David Johnson (Gambia); Isaac Aboagye and Julius Mensah(Ghana); Kamara Abubakarr and Ibrahim Kabia (Sierra Leone); Ichagha Fofana and Mohammadu Diaby (Mali) and James Chukwu and Rotimi Adesanya(Nigeria). The course is being facilitated by Messrs Okon Ukpong and Ewa Henshaw with logistics provided by the NCF Secretary, Dans Adokiye. The venue is National Stadium, Abuja
