NCF HOLDS LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE AND LEVEL 0 UMPIRING COURSE IN KADUNA | (2009-12-08 )

The Nigeria Cricket Federation(NCF) continues its technical capacity building programmes
In the North-West zone of the country with the hosting of back-to-back Coaching and
Umpiring certificated courses at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

Fresh from an Introductory Coaching clinic conducted on 4 schools in Abuja, the NCF duo
Of Okon Ukpong and Ewa Henshaw will facilitate the courses and assess the participants
thereafter with examinations on the courses.

Already up to 46 candidates have indicated interest in the two courses drawn from Kaduna
and neighboring states like Kebbi, Sokoto and Kogi.

There will be a screening test to reduce the class size for each programme to a maximum
Of 20 candidates.

Candidates who have indicated interest include Mike Egiethua, Peter Yakubu, Ohimai Ehijihaetor,
Titus George, Telema Daregoe, Nnadozie Echeocha, Habib Enesi, Joseph Ochie, Dan Asabe,
Mohammed Ibrahim, Abdulahi Kasando, Sanni Opene, Tony Benson, Haruna Thomas, Emmanuel Gowon,
Yusuf Gashun,  Moses Joseph, Tisgin Lucas, O. Aderibigbe, Godwin Onoja, Dahiru Enesi, and Samuel Wantana
among others.

The Level 1 Coaching Course will hold on Thursday 3rd December, 2009 whilst the Level 0 Umpiring Course
will hold the next day on Friday 4th December, 2009.
