NCF BOARD INAUGURATED | (2009-06-10 )

The newly reconstituted Board of the Nigeria Cricket Federation(NCF) was one of the twenty-nine boards sworn in by the Honourable Minister and Chairman, National Sports Commission(NSC) at the media centre of the National Stadium, Abuja yesterday.

The new board comprises of the following membership:
1) Kwesi Sagoe - President
2) Dr Yahaya Ukwenya - 1st Vice-President
3) Soki Dakoru - 2nd Vice-President
4) Hon Bappa Missau
5) Alhaji Alfa Mohammed
6) Okon Ukpong
7) Saidu El-Buba
8) Col A. O Okoh
9) Ms Bimbo Sowoolu
10) Dr A. O Okunbor

The zonal representatives on the Board are Okon Ukpong(South-West), Soki Dakoru(South-South), Saidu El-Buba(North-East), Alhaji Alfa Mohammed(North-Central) and Dr Yahaya Ukwenya(North-West).
The other constituencies are Dr Okunbor(NAPHER-SD), Col Okoh(Armed Forces), Ms Bimbo Sowoolu(NAWIS) whilst Hon Bappa Missau is FGN nominee. The President, Kwesi Sagoe is the Continental/International Bodies representative on the newly reconstituted Board.
The Board has already set Friday, July 10, 2009 as the date for its inaugural Board meeting to be held in Kaduna, Kaduna State
