The event saw Lagos triumph over Ogun State by 7 wickets to bag the trophy. The immediate past president of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Kwesi Sagoe, eulogised the sponsor, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, for its generous efforts at revamping school cricket. He also seized the opportunity to reel out the achievements of the board he led even though it had the shortest term of two years and 10 months.
